Hatsu Hioki will make his return at the April 29th Shooto event to take on former King Of The Cage champion Donal Sanchez.
Sanchez is on a 7-fight winning streak right now. He has four submission losses on his record but those were his first four losses.
In more unfortunate news Rambaa Somdet M16 won’t be on time with the recovery of his injury for the event so he has relinquished his belt and Junji Sarumaru will now take on Junji Ikoma to decide the 2nd generation Shooto Flyweight champion.
Also added to the card, a 72kg fight between 2009 Shooto Rookie-Of-The-Year Welterweight Tournament winner Koshi Matsumoto and Takanori Gomi student Akira.
